Training: Energy efficiency in industry

Responsible Business Hub, in cooperation with the Association for Energy and Mining of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and professors from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade, successfully conducted the training “Energy Efficiency in Industry”.

In cooperation with colleagues from the Association for Energy and Mining of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, we designed this training for all representatives of companies from the industrial production sector, who deal with issues of monitoring energy consumption in their companies as well as optimization and energy consumption reduction projects.

This training was also a prerequisite for all participants who applied for our additional training ˝Energy check of industrial plants˝

The program aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of employees, who already have experience in the field of energy, so that they could recognize the potential for optimizing energy processes in their companies and set concrete goals, the realization of which will reduce business costs.

During the lecture, the participants gained knowledge from seventeen topics such as:

  • Energy management system and the role of the energy manager
  • Energy engineering
  • Internal energy audit procedure, data collection and processing
  • Measures to increase energy efficiency in liquid and air transport systems
  • Measures to increase energy efficiency with steam and hot water boiler systems, distribution and return of the working fluid
  • Combined production of electricity and heat for heating and cooling as an energy measure efficiency and measures to increase energy efficiency in cooling and heating systems
  • Energy efficiency measures in ventilation and air conditioning systems
  • Measures to increase the energy efficiency of electricity consumers. energy and PV systems
  • Law on Renewable Sources of Electricity, Energy Efficiency and Energy

The last day of the training was conducted through practical work in the laboratory conditions of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade.
